Emergence
Sean was born in Santa Barbara, CA in 1972. His father moved the family to Oregon in 1979 to teach at Willamette University. His mother is a gourmet French chef and works in education in Oregon. Sean moved to Portland with his wife in 1991. They have two wonderful young children.

Education
Sean attended high school in Salem, OR. He then graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR in 1995, where he studied English literature. After graduation Sean researched his Irish roots, toured the Emerald Isle, and researched early European and Middle Eastern history. He just completed his Masters in Architecture from the University of Oregon, with study in Portland, OR and in Copenhagen, Denmark. His primary focus is on sustainable urban design and alternative energy for developing nations.

Employment
Sean has worked in finance for US Bank, in high tech with Intel and Webtrends, and most recently in medical and office design in Oregon and Washington with Anderson Dabrowski Architects. Sean has also worked as a freelance photographer and journalist on trips to Russia and the Middle East. Sean continues to be interested in global development and sustainable design and is working towards his LEED certification. Entertainment
Sean enjoys traveling, photography, and writing. Sean has lived in California, Oregon, and Denmark. Sean has visited Canada, France, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, Moldova, Russia, Turkey, Cyprus, Tunis, and Iraq. He has also visited Washington, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire. Next target to tour is the American South and Latin America.
